I lost my kiteboard at Oostvoorne Autostrand!

Date: 10.07.2013
Time: round about 17.30h
Brand/Type: RL Board
Color:
base color: white  with red and black points on it;
white / black foot straps; 
black handlegrab;
red fins
Length/Wide: 138 x 40

Seems you've lost quite some boards in the past 2 years..
I was there yesterday, but when we left the beach (around 21:45) I didn't see any boards laying around on the beach (there were hardly any people left on the beach at that time).

Next time be careful when winddirection is NNE at Oostvoorne in combination with high tide.
Without enough experience it can be an dangerous spot. (partly offshore.)


Hopefully your board will show up somewere....

Maybe some Germans found it on Brouwersdam... thats where the current took my board when i lost it a few years ago, resqueing somebody else. Good luck on finding it back. btw did you have your phone nr or e-mail adress written on it?

I´m sorry, but i Don`t understand this question...

I was talking about the "Wide" of the lost board: Length/Wide: 138 x 44. In my first report i posted the following dimensions: Length/Wide: 138 x 40. It was a mistake by myself. Now i have corrected it.

@ Evan, foto is 123 pixels hoog en board neemt 1/3 van de foto in. Je zit er niet ver naast. ;-)

Stranger things have happened. Wind richting land hoeft niet te zeggen dat het board ook aanspoelt. Blijft vaak "buiten" de branding hangen.

Wat dacht je van een kite die in Petten aanspoelt, uit Scheveningen(!) ? Met aflandige wind vertrokken richting UK, ff langs de hele kust en lekker voor IJmuiden langs waar toch wel wat schepen in- en uit- gaan om rustig bij Petten weer aan land te komen.....
