Deze week zijn de VKWC jeugdkampioenschappen in Sant Pere Pescador, Spanje. hoewel er geen nederlandse talenten meedoen, is er wel een belg, Lars de Groof, met nederlandse kites die erg lekker gaat! 15 jarige Lars vaart eigenlijk altijd in Nederland wegens de aparte regelgeving in België, hij is te herkennen aan zijn Peter Lynn escapes.

Lars won his first heat against South African Van der Spuy in an impressive way, landing almost all of his tricks. Lars is absolutely stoked he's able to compete at this world level competition. In his second heat he put up a good fight against Tio from Spain, but in spite of landing a great hinterberger mobe, blind judge 3, 313 and other tricks, he lost that heat with a few points.
The level of riding is absolutely incredible! Today Lars will get a chance to work his way further up in the double eliminations. The wind in Spain is fantastic, the sun is pushing temperature well over 30, the girls are beautiful and life simply can't get any better.
