TThe 2002 Cabrinha Black Tip preserves the same design characteristics that made it the 2001 World Champion Freestyle andHangtimewinner in both Mens and Womens.
Its high aspect, high lift attributes combined with our new battened wing tip design produce a responsive, but stable kite perfect for huge aerial tricks and lofty distance jumps. The angled battenedwing tips enhance rider input by taking out the "play" associated with an unsupported tip design.
The battened wing tip also allows for multiple hang points from which you can connect your back flying lines. This option allowsthe rider to choose the turning speed of the kite to suit their flying preference.
The 7.2, 6.0, and 5.0 Black Tip can be flown as a two line performance kite by attaching a simple two line bridle. New leading edge strut and batten materials increase the rigidity ofthe frame, stabilizing the kite in flight and enhancing its durability. Details such as our new molded seam protectors, high grade TPU bladder material, and high volumeAirLockleading edge valve help to make the Black Tip an entirely new kite from top to bottom.
