Grevelingendam & Herkingen

Hi there
I wonder if this is still current?!

I saw a kite up there the other day, thought the spots closed. I'm not very keen to pay 130 Euro fine

Grevelingendam is still allowed, but Herkingen is off. But you'd better drive to Brouwersdam or some other North Sea spots, they are much better.

Only with Eastern wind like today you can go to the Grevelingendam. But beware no beach, only grass to launch and land your kite between some bushes, and rocks to climb in and out the water.
