After a few weeks of almost no wind we found some wood suitable for a tiny slider. A few days later we went up early saw it apart and went by a timber yard on the way to the spot where we put it together. At lunchtime it was ready but we had to wait until the weekend for the first hits, this in almost no and very gusty offshore wind. Since we put the slider close to the beach we could run back after each hit which at least kept us warm…

The coming weeks were about the same, there should have been some wind but offshore winds around here are never reliable. Then I got to try the Zephyr 17, and the gusty wind was no longer a problem, I could go out riding when people stayed home or had problems keeping their kites in the air. This gave me two fun sessions hitting the slider.

I did also get to try the new C-4. The first impression was that it is more responsive to the sport+ that I usually ride. The first day testing it I was a bit underpowered on the 11m but a few days later we finally got some onshore winds and sunny weather. I heard we had five hours of sun in November and I think I spend all of them riding on my favorite spot!

Riding the C-4 with some nice power was awesome, rock stable when putting on the boots and it holds plenty of power when charging for pop. I was not sure what to expect of the c-shape but it did not take long before I was stoked. Enough talking… have a look at the video I put together from the sessions instead, a bit chilly and pretty shallow for the freestyle but always fun to be on the water. The slider is pretty tiny but at least easy to carry and good to begin with…
