The wind began to pick up strength early in the morning and the sun came out for short periods warming the air. However, it remained a little colder than the past couple of days due to stronger winds. Shortly after 12:00 pm, there were recordings of wind speeds reaching 20 knots with gusts of up to 25 knots.
