Kari Schibevaag >> 1st Place Waves PKRA Morocco

I have now been to Morocco for the PKRA and the first stop of the world cup in the waves. It has been an amazing event for freestyle and waves with good conditions here in Dakhla.

We had riders from all over the world and I think all the riders were surprised how good Dakhla was for kiting.

Where we were staying was a lagoon 10m from the camp, and 20 min drive from the camp we had the perfect spot for wave riding.

We were really lucky with the conditions and we managed to finish the waves and the freestyle. I finished 1st in waves and I am super happy with this. This was my goal and also with a score in the top for the men’s made me even more happy.

I am now in Lanzarote for the next stop of the world cup in waves and the forecast looks good for the next few days. Lets see if I also can surf well here and bring the 1st position home to Ozone :)

I am super happy with my kites, I am using the Catalyst in the waves and they help me a lot to improve my style and power in the waves, so thanks Ozone for amazing gear this year :)
